WZ Editing Rules Empty

1. Map.Wz Edits are not Allowed.

If you are caught with edited platforms, or anything related to the map itself, you can be banned for it. Usually you will be asked to replace your map file but don't expect it all the time. Those of you from Servers that have the Map.WZ Edited, please download a clean V83 MapleStory or download the tampered WZ itself.
Note: You are allowed to edit how the map looks. A lot of people edit their FM to have different Colors or Portal Types or add Different Things in the background. This is fine, as long as your Portal Locations, Platforms, Etc remain unchanged.


2. Certain Skill.Wz or Character.Wz edits, or Cash Shop Edits = Perm ban

If you edit your skill Strength, Speed, or your Item Stats or something like that, you will be permanently banned. Editing your skill Strength is just as bad as hacking. Editing the Cash Shop to buy Illegal items will get you Autobanned, and you will not be Unbanned. You have been warned.


3. Allowed Edits

You are allowed to edit your Skill.wz or your UI to change Colors, Animations, and Effects/Appearances of things, like the Appearance of Gachapon Tickets or the Animation of your Dragon Roar. These do not effect other players and they don't give anyone unfair advantages so they are allowed. Of course, if you want to play it safe don't edit anything. If you do edit, keep a folder with clean .Wz Files so you can easily replace the one you messed up with if it turns out you did something Illegal.
